Why is Westerleigh Group supporting Dementia UK?
Westerleigh Group is proud of its commitment to provide exceptional care to the bereaved and their loved ones. But our care goes much further than supporting the bereaved. We also care deeply about the wider communities that surround every one of our crematoria in England, Scotland and Wales. It is our intention to have a positive presence in all our communities by being a good neighbour for the benefit of people who live locally.
Every three minutes, someone in the UK develops dementia – a diagnosis that can be devastating for the whole family. Too often, people are left feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and alone. For these families, Dementia UK’s specialist dementia nurses – known as Admiral Nurses – are a lifeline. They help people through the fear and confusion of dementia, providing expert health advice, practical tips for caring, and compassionate emotional support.
This is why we have chosen to partner with Dementia UK and committed to making a donation for every memorial purchase made between Monday 4th September and Sunday 15th October 2023.
When you make a memorial purchase and remember your loved one, you will also be helping Dementia UK support more families across the country. Your purchase will trigger a donation from Westerleigh Group to Dementia UK, giving us a special opportunity to serve you as well as families in need of dementia support from this deserving charity.
£50 could pay for the telephone costs of 17 family carers calling Dementia UK’s free Helpline for support.
